Groove Note Records
Groove Note Records was started by Ying Tan, one of the original founding members of Classic Records. The intention with Groove Note, was to broaden their horizons and venture into the brave new world of original productions and recordings with an occasional reissue thrown into the mix.
They continue to focus their attention on original recordings but always with a close eye to improving the technical quality of all of their projects.
Groove Note was one of the earliest labels to be invited by Sony to participate in its pilot audiophile SACD program. Since then they have released a total of 6 titles on SACD. With the new SACD format gaining widespread acceptance in the audiophile and traditional markets, they really believe that these state of the art recordings provide our customers with levels of satisfaction not previously possible with 24K Gold CDs.
